Fall brings so many wonderful things along with it. Gorgeous fall foliage (have you checked out the color at the Overland Park Arboretum? It’s incredible) crisp but not too cold weather that is perfect for sunlit strolls, amazing fall fruits and vegetables and of course, these days, pumpkin spice EVERYTHING. Fall also however usually signals the beginning of cold and flu season, and, let’s be honest here, that part is not so much fun.
The chances are good that you have heard all the standard advice for helping to ward off cold and flus; eat lots of fruits and vegetables, take some extra vitamin C and/or zinc, get plenty of exercise balanced with plenty of rest and of course, frequent hand-washing.
